Over recent months, my team and I have had the opportunity to meet so many of you and hear your concerns regarding the future of our district. Atlanta is city rich in history and steeped in tradition. It is filled with many wonderful neighborhoods, great schools, and churches.

I am running to become your next State Representative for District 56 because I believe everyday Georgians need a champion in the state legislature. Someone who is never willing to give up, who understands the unique needs of our communities, and whose desire is for the community to become the best it can be.

I am running, because I want to be that champion for District 56. I am running because, I want Georgia to get back to the business of putting the needs of everyday Georgians at the forefront of the work that they do. As State Representative, I will work to develop a legislative agenda that creates opportunities for prosperity while dismantling barriers to employment. I will work to create an environment where hard working Georgians can get ahead, purchase a home and raise a family. And I will work to help create a State that is friendly to business and where seniors do not have to worry about displacement or whether they will have enough to provide for their basic needs.

I chose now, for the families that I have met who are uncertain of what the future may hold, the communities I have seen where everyday hard working people continue to have barriers to employment and good paying jobs, and for my neighbors so to ensure that the our future is one we can all be proud of.

I admit that some of our challenges will be difficult and many of them may take time to address. But I have never been more resolute in my belief that together we can make this community better. Whether you are in Ansley Park, Midtown, Bankhead, Chalet-Peyton or the West End, we are all united by one common theme, we are all Georgians.

If elected State Representative, I will be your champion and will continue to fight to create a future we all can be proud of.
